Internship Training in Mauritius

Eligibility

• You must possess intermediate English speaking and writing skills;
  NB: French is a plus.
• At least 18 years old;
• You must be currently enrolled in an educational institution;

All nationalities are welcome to apply, however some types of placements may require specific nationalities.

How to apply for the programme?

Step 1

Read carefully the programme description and eligibility criteria. Then fill out the online application form and pay the booking fee in order to apply.

Step 2

Global Choices confirms your booking and place on the programme. We appoint a programme coordinator to lead you through the rest of the application process until you are successfully placed.

Step 3

You communicate with your programme coordinator and exchange all necessary documents and forms. Once the placement is confirmed you will need to purchase insurance and pay the remaining programme balance together with other fees (if appropriate).

Deadline

You can apply anytime during the year. All complete applications must be in the Global Choices office at least 3 months before planned start date. The sooner we have an application in the office, the better the chances are for the desired placement.

Required documents

Applicants must submit the application packet which includes:

• Completed application form provided by Global Choices;
• 1 Reference letter from school or employer;
• Official sealed transcripts;
• Letter of School Registration & Enrolment;
• Curriculum Vitae with description of qualification and work experience;
• Short essay, explaining the reason why you want to participate in the programme;
• 4 official coloured passport photos.

Visa & work permit details

You must apply for the E2 Training Visa for a period of 6 months at the Mauritius Embassy. You will need to submit the following:

• Letter of Invitation provided by Global Choices;
• Completed and signed visa form, application To enter Mauritius;
• Completed contact form;
• Signed letter stating you will not engage in any financial gainful activities;
• Scanned photocopy of data passport page showing date of birth and expiry date at least 6 months longer than the end date of your programme;
• 4 Passport Photos (3.08 centimeters each) showing your face with no light or hat against the background.

NB: Please note that we will apply for the visa on your behalf once all documents are received.
