Language courses

Applicants with no or little knowledge of Spanish must join the programme when the University language Course for beginners start. Details of the start dates will be provided at the time of your enrolment. Students will be attending a Language Course at University of Alcalá de Henares followed by Work Placement.

Language Course Details: Applicants can choose between two options.

A) 4 Weeks Spanish Language Course (80 hours):

• Grammar and Writing Skills;
• Conversation and Phonetics;
• Compulsory Practice Sessions in the Language Lab;
• Final exams to obtain the Official Diplomas and certificates issued by University of Alcalá de Henares.

Accommodation and Starting Dates during Course 4 weeks language course

Those applicants with intermediate level of Spanish can join the programme depending on the type of accommodation chosen during the Language Course:

Home stay - half board provided with single room. Applicants can join the programme every Sunday during the year.

Halls of Residence are on a shared room, no meals included and use of sport facilities, Social Club, etc is available. Applicants can join the programme every 1st or 16th of each month. Please, bare in mind that it is really difficult to find vacancies at the University Hall of Residence for students starting the course at September or October, however students starting the course from November to August can apply for this type of accommodation.

Host families will be an alternative option.
