Programme cost

• Booking fee - GBP150 (booking fee applies towards programme fee).
  This fee must be paid when you get the confirmation about eligibility from our programme coordinator.
• Programme fee - GBP650
  Programme fee needs to be paid upon placement confirmation.

What is included in the fee?

• Work placement;
• Jumpstart in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown;
• Airport pick-up;
• Pick up at railway station or bus terminal (Kiwi Cowboy/Cowgirl only) 3 nights pre-placement accommodation in shared facilities;
• Information about the IRD (tax) number, opening of bank account etc;
• Orientation seminar from the employer about what to expect as an employee, duties, paper work, contract etc;
• Help with cost effective tour bookings within New Zealand for travellers and their parents;
• NZ Card, a personalized travel discount card to use when visiting different corners of New Zealand (12 months valid);
• Ongoing support.

What is not included in the fee?

• Round trip airfare to New Zealand;
• Day-to-day personal expenses;
• Health and accident insurance for the duration of the programme.

Cancellation and refund policy

1. Booking fee of GBP 150 is non-refundable, unless Global Choices is not able to arrange any placement.
2. Booking fee is non–refundable in case of cancellations received after the placement is confirmed and before full payment is made.
3. Cancellations received after the placement is confirmed, but within 2 weeks after full payment has been made, are subject to a refund of 50% of the programme fee.
4. Cancellations received after the placement is confirmed, but longer than 2 weeks after full payment has been made, are subject to no refund.
5. No refund is provided after the applicants started the programme.
