When to apply?

Internship applications must be lodged a minimum of six (6) months prior to internship commencement or arrival in Australia. 4 months for candidates with a suitable working visa.

Are there any language requirements if I am not a native speaker of English?

You will need sufficient English to be able to perform your duties and work efficiently in the working environment. Evidence of English language level required is IELTS 6 or TOEFL 550. You will limit your learning and opportunities if you do not have sufficient English. We advice that applicants with limited English complete English Language Studies in Australia prior to the commencement of your internship.

Who can apply to Paid Hospitality Internship in Australia program?

In order to be eligible for the Hospitality Internship Program candidates must meet the following requirements: • Be between the age of 18 – 30 • Have a proven educational background related to Hospitality or Gastronomy • Be currently enrolled in a tertiary course, or • Be a recent graduate within 24 months of course completion • Prove a genuine interest in the internship program • 6 months Experience in the desired Hospitality field.

What is not included in the program fee?

- Round trip to Australia; - Accommodation: you can either arrange this yourself or Global Choices can do it for you at an extra charge; - Insurance; - Any relevant fees for visa processing; - Daily living expenses.

How much will I be paid?

The average monthly salary for interns is AU$1735. This wage may vary depending on host companies and intern working hours.
