What are the age restrictions to be eligible for the “Work & Study Canada” programme?

Applicants who want to apply for this programme should be 18-35 years old.

What should I do to get a visa?

You will need to apply for the Work and Study permit. To be eligible for a Work Permit for an intership, you must have a valid Study Permit in Canada. Students from outside Canada usually apply for a Study Permit from their home country and apply for the Work Permit when they are in Canada. Before this process it is recommended to consult with the Canadian embassy in your country.

When can I apply for “Work & Study Canada”?

The programme is available all year round.

What positions could I apply for?

Mostly there are hospitality or business management positions available. Depending on the duration you would like to choose, there are different requirements for each programme.

Will I have accommodation arranged?

Yes. Usually accommodation (homestay) is arranged by the company where you will be doing your training part of the programme. You can apply for the accommodation while filling in the application form for the first 4 weeks + airport pickup.

What is the longest period I can study and work in Canada?

You can choose a programme length of 6 months to 2 years.
