Programme cost

Booking fee - £50 - This fee is non-refundable

Placement fee

• For placements of 1-3 months’ duration - £290;
• For placements of 4-6 months’ duration - £390.

Board and lodging

Paying guest accommodation at £95 per week.

Airport transfers

• Delhi airport pick-up and drop off: £100;
• Airport pick-up only: £70.

What’s included in the fee

• Assistance with the volunteer work placement;
• Accommodation arrangements;
• General orientation about the culture and customs of the country;
• Full-time support in India.

What’s not included

• Round trip to India;
• Travel expenses to the city where you will be placed;
• Accommodation and food. The cost of accommodation on a twin-sharing basis is around £95 per month;
• Travel medical insurance.

Cancellation

• The booking fee is non-refundable;
• You will get a full refund of the programme fee if Global Choices is not able to find a placement in 60 days;
• For cancellation after placement is confirmed you will receive a partial refund with a deduction of US$100;
• No refund is made after the applicant has arrived in India. No exceptions will be made for any reason, including dislike of home city, accommodation, volunteer programme or home city.
