Volunteering In Costa Rica

Volunteering in Costa Rica gives you a chance to participate in various interesting conservation programmes which would suit not only animal lovers, take part in educational activities in schools and other community projects.
All our projects in Costa Rica give you an opportunity to observe the local flora, acquire new skills, learn different language and soak up a new culture.

Placement Details

You can choose from any of various projects:

• Help and support for children (including teaching English);
• Organizing activities for children;
• Rescuing animals in danger and introducing them back into their natural environment;
• Feeding animals, infrastructure maintenance, guiding tourists;
• Trail and road maintenance within a national park.

Duration of the Programme

Time of commitment may vary from 4 weeks to 6 months.

Locations Of Placements

The volunteer placements will be offered in the Heredia, San Jose, Santa Domingo de Heredia, Guanacaste, Cartago, Monteverde and Puntarenas.
